I can think of better things to smell, but I don't think it is bad, other than just smelling bad.
Sniff plaque? Aside from the stuff that clogs arteries and builds up on teeth . what plaque are you talking about?

just brush with colgate total and you won't have that problem

LOL.No why in the world would you do that..lol..It will do nothing to you but trying brushing 3times a day and change paste if you already do. That's not healthy

It's not bad. If that's your personal fetish, that's fine. I don't think it is a pleasant smell right. Plaque is bacteria by the way and also the culprit behind your bad breath, gum diseases, cavities. Take a look at the link above by one of the responders. Are you sure you want to smell the calculus? By the way, calculus is the hardened version of plaque. If you want to continue smelling that, go on. =)
