Adhesive for a single tooth onto gums??

Question:

I'm missing one of my front teeth and will be getting an implant soon after i get my bone graft done tomorrow...well yesterday my retainer with a fake tooth on it broke so that the tooth fell right off. I can still wear it but it feels loose bc the only thing thats holding it in place is the wire. Anyways, I was wondering if maybe i could just use some kind of adhesive to glue the single tooth onto my gum without the retainer...would something like fixodent work??

No you shouldn't glue the tooth onto the gum. Go to your dentist and they should be able to send your retainer to the lab to get it repaired. Usually you can have it back the same day.

If you swallow your fake tooth, then what will you do? Fixodent will NOT work for this.
