Anybody else never been to dentist?

Question:

I'm 26 years old, and never been to the dentist. I have dental insurance now and I'm about to go for the first time. Don't get the wrong idea, my teeth are pretty straight, i brush regulary, I've just never been to the dentist office. Any advice or encouragement? I'll admit I'm a little scared.

Hey Jenn it is normal to be pretty scared. it is a little surprising that you have NEVER been, not even as a kid? Either way...dont worry these days they have great medicined and many officed have TV's you can watch or even simulation glasses to distract you. It should be a breeze even if they come up with a couple of cavities. Good luck.
