Ice, ibuprofen, a dentist. Nothing much else is gonna help.

Other Answers:
you can get some of the numbing things that are often used on kids when their teeth come in, that as aspirin, but you need to get to a dentist right away as things will only get worse.

If you take a tylenol pill and put it on the tooth that hurts, then bite into the pill and let it get up into the tooth it will numb it. It tastes nasty but well worth it. Only problem is this will only work for a day or 2. It does work though no bs

God bless, and get to a dentist soon.
Try Ice. If not that, I would recomend the dentist. Or go to your local pharmacy and ask them.

Oh, honey, I SOOOOO sympathize! Try 800 mg of ibuprofen, 2 tylenol with it, and then a cold or hot compress on the side of your face that hurts (whichever temp you prefer, I like hot). Good luck to you!
oil of clove

The nerve in your tooth will die with in a week. Buy tooth numbing liquids like orajel maxium strength. For my bad tooth I tried ice,Ib profin, gum, and others nothing really did work. Exercise does help for a little while. Use the orajel. Tell your dentist that you need this tooth fixed right away.
See DENTIST ASAP!

Toothaches are a sign that there may be more to worry about then just a little pain. The causes of toothache are several but the major causes are, dental cavity, a cracked tooth, exposed tooth root, gum disease, disease of the jaw joint or spasms of the muscles used for chewing. It is possible for the cause of a toothache to originate from an entirely different problem such as heart attack or angina but this is quite rare. It can be noted however that some patients suffering angina will show toothache or jaw pain as the only symptoms so it is always best to let your dentist or doctor evaluate you.
