At what age do a persons teeth stop moving or could they move anytime in a persons life?
Question:
Answers:
Teeth move FOREVER. It's called "physiologic mesial drift." Use that as a search term on Google without the quotation marks and you'll get almost 200 articles. It's minor, especially when you are your age, but technically, the answer to your question is yes.
As usual, I agree with Dr. Sam. Teeth will move slightly for the rest of your life. Your teeth may move significantly if there are any spaces present or if they have had significant movement with the braces and you do not have retainers present to keep them from shifting. So, either wear your retainers or possibly have them adjusted or get new retainers if you don't have them or they no longer fit.
