the only differance is sugar, either way the stuff is still acidic and eats away at the enamel. Diet is better weight loss wise because it is the lack calories. However, Pop is a diurhetic, meaning it dehydrates you and makes you pee alot. If you want to lose weight, the best thing to do is drink water. H2O actually helps you burn calories better. It's like fuel for a car. I know water has no taste but, it takes at least 3 weeks to change your body's preferance in taste of foods. Then your body will actually like the "taste" of water. And if you change what yo eat the 3 week rule applies to that as well. After not eating the crap for 3 weeks, you actually go "eww" at the thought of a candy bar. I quit eating junk like 10 years ago, and I still cringe at the idea of eating a whole candybar let alone a small bite. It just doesn't apeal to me anymore. Plus, the best way to turn yourself off the that stuff is to read the information. Did you know the average candybar has 14 grams of fat!!!! A hamburger (home grilled!) can range from 17 to 36 grams!!! That's a lot If you're trying to lose weight, here's the basics to follow. Weight LOSS: 25 grams of fat MAX in a day, 50 carbs and no more than 1500 calories. I think sugars is 50 but sugars and calories are the ones that rac up really easily because of beverages. If you are not alergic to Splenda, drink lite ocean spray juices, they use splenda and the calories and sugars are significantly lower. and makes it easier to diet withouht hating youself. Juices are actually no good unless they are low in sugar, because it is the sugar in juice that fattens and makes you tired. High amounts of sugar cause your insuline to work overtime and then once the sugar in broken down the insulin just stops and THAT makes you crash tired!!! I'm very serious about reading the info. The next time you go grocery shopping, make it a point to read all the info of the foods yo eat now and then compare to other stuff!! you will be stunned at how much you are taking in. Also, did you know in order to lose 1 pound you have to burn 3500 calories! Which means 45 minute vigourous (not a leasurly stroll) morning walk will help you burn off about 1 pund a week. That's what I did at 133 pounds. I wasn't even that fat! In 3 months i lost 13 pounds. Once you start to see the scale go down you won't want to eat the yucky crap. Actually Diet Pop ist the worst you can drink, it has Aspartame in it which can cause brain damage, convulsions all sorts of things,
Depending on how much pop you drink, drink the sugar kind.
For weightloss drink sparkling flavoured water instead.
