How much does it cost to fill an average cavity? My tooth is killing me and I don't have insurance.?
Answers:
I always floss after I brush - this is what they do when you have a cleaning at the doctor's office. It makes sense - brushing could push debris back in between the teeth.

floss first then brushHow much is an average dentist salary? Endodontist?
Flossing before you brush makes the grit easier to get out because it's been pre-loosened.floss then brush. my theory is get the stuff out from between your teeth and under your gums, then brush everything loose, spit, rinse, spit. mouthwash!
Do you really need to floss while wearing fixed braces? (traintracks)?
Brush before I floss and then rinse with flouride (ACT). I think if you floss first, you might actually pull some of the debris from the outside of your teeth to the inside.just my theory.I brush real good- mouthwash- then floss- then brush again real quick. It's quite a process!

floss before brushing to loosen the plaque and gargle a bit of PLAX then brush your teeth and gargle again. works wonders to your gums.
I've got a lot of experience with that, and I can tell you that flossing first is no good. You want to remove stuff that can be removed with the brush, then remove the biofilm that is/was under it, so as not to push stuff around and into the gums with the flossing. You can easily drag stuff, that the brush would have removed, in between the teeth with the flossing and the flossing will leave it there. So a nice new biofilm forms right away and plaque builds up. So for me, it's brush, rinse, floss, rinse.
