dentists abroad- im in the uk and want my 2 front crowns re done as they look a bit goofy?

Question:
my dentist has quoted me about 700 pounds would it be cheaper abroad and anyone got any suggestions-thankyou

Answers:
Goofy is one thing, necessity is another, How do you feel about them or better yet ask family and or friends for an honest opinion. Not sure if you have insurance but if done for reason's other than esthetic's you are stuck paying out of pocket yourself. You can call any accredited dental practice in the states, explain your need and most practice's don't mind giving some sort of quote. Mind you it's only a quote and that way you can find out who and where you might feel comfortable seeing, if the receptionist is helpful and understanding, most of the time the dentist and staff are great, especially since your looking to go out of your country. Or you can call any Dental society for help in searching for a Dentist.
Good luck :)
Definitely cheaper to head to Europe, Poland would be a good place to look, there are quite a few dentists geared up to treating British people - also try the Czech Republic.

Can't give you specific practices - but Google probably can. Generally the standard of work is excellent, and I know of, although not directly, people who have all their work done abroad.
I would suggest - travel to Poland. Plenty to see and the dentists are very good and much less expensive than in Britain. There are whole towns on the German border which provide good quality medical services for foreign EU patients. For example in Warsaw try www.eurodental.com.pl. You can fly there cheaply with Easyjet, Sky Europe, Centralwings, Wizz Air. And believe me. It is not third world - the doctors seem to care a bit more about their patients than the ones on NHS, have good quality equipment and a bit broader scope of knowledge than some of their collegues in the West. At least they do not use stopwatches during the appointments...:-))
