Is it safe to extract 3 teeth in a day for someone with high blood pressure and currently on medication.?
Question:
Answers:
If your blood pressure is adequately controlled by your medication, it is the same for you as anyone without high blood pressure. Discuss this with your dentist, though. If the teeth are next-door neighbors, he/she will probably be using sutures anyway. Your dentist would like to "observe" you for a few minutes to see how well the bleeding is being controlled. It may be neccesary to use some stuff to help you clot better, such as Surgicel.
I had all my uppers pulled at the same time with high blood pressure and no medication. No problems with it.
