where can i get a work as dental assistant? i,m a foreign dentist and i live in new jersey.?

Question:
i'm studying for the national board dental exam part I ,but i need to work as a dental assistant while i'm studying .i,m from cuba.

Answers:
Look in any newspaper or at www.nj.com for classified ads. I'm in SNJ and - trust me - if you speak Spanish and understand dentistry the way I think you do, you would have NO TROUBLE finding a job through conventional means. The only thing negative would be the fact that you are looking for short term employment and most dentists would rather hire for a longer term commitment. If you just want "a job," go to a larger office or clinic and don't tell them about your plans to leave soon. They have large staffs and a high turnover rate anyhow.

Other Answers:
Contact your state's ADA department. They should have a list of agencies who hire for part time or temp work. This should help you while you are studying. Good luck.
