About cavities....?

Im not sure if I have a cavity. The tooth is sensitive, but at random times. It does not hurt when I eat hot, cold, or sugary items. It just hurts spontaneously for a couple seconds to a minute. I have looked in 2 mirrors to look at the tooth, and I do not see anything wrong, but I know that means nothing. Any ideas?
If it is a cavity, How do they fill it? Please be specific!

I am looking for a dental form DD8213, where can i find it on-line?

Answers:
Get thee to a dentist, forthwith!

It could be a cavity, an exposed nerve, or even just eroded enamel which makes the tooth intermittently sensitive. But you won't know, will you, until you go to the dentist?

Do wisdom teeth have to be pulled out?

To fill a cavity, they will swab a numbing topical solution to make the novacaine shot easier, then they numb you with novacaine and one you are good and numb the drill the rotten part out and then fill it with dental compound.
