I don't understand your question. Do you really have a sock in your mouth, and have had it in there for a week?
I assume you mean "socket". The "hole" where you tooth was can be felt for quite a while. If you are having uncontrolled pain - get back to the dentist.
I think you mean dry socket from having a tooth removed. You need to go back to the dentist and have them pack it. They can become extremely painful.
get to the dentist immediately, no lie, at least call one and ask them if you don't believe me, that can be really bad
make an appointment to see ur family dr good luck
You really need to go to the dentist. A dry socket is basically an infection in the bone and it really needs to be treated with medication. The dentist will have medication to put directly into the socket.
this sounds crazy , but i had dry socket once and the dentist put cloves in it
It cannot heal without you going back to the dentist to pack it. It is extremely painful..I know I had it and waited a week or so as well before going to the dentist. You will have to go back every other day or so for a week to pack it. It sucks but you will get so much releif after the first packing. Do you smoke? Most people who smoke get dry socket. Lay off the ciggys for awhile so it can heal.
Odor eaters? NO JK.

Dry socket requires a guaze medicated (with dry socket paste) to be replaced every 3-4 days until the bone in the socket begins to bleed and heal normally. Clove oil isn't going to do much with an iodoform medicament. Dry socket is not an infection, but is a form of delayed healing. The dentist will usually have you back to change the guaze to promote healing.
dang, a dry sock..you must mean a dry socket- you need to get to your dentist so he can medicate the area and speed the healing for you- usually there is not a charge for this
