Orthodontist.?
Ok. So, i'm going to the orthodintist for the first time. They have to put in spacers, make a mold of my teeth, then put a herbst appliance on. Any experience with any of this?? Ant tips??

ive had the exact same thing, spacers dont hurt but they do come out easy so be careful with gum or anything chewy. theres nothing to the mold. ill be honest the appliance is pretty hard to get used to the first few weeks. the rods make a noise when u open yr mouth but its easy to get use to it, u wont notice after a few days. this is something my orthodonist didnt tell me about, then it happened to me, if u open yr mouth to wide like for yawning , the rods could get stuck but all u have to do is take yr fingers or tongue and wiggle them and they'll come unstuck. also make sure yr orthodonist gives u wax, incase yr gums get sore. hope this helps!
