Swollen Lymph Nodes And wisdom teeth?
Question:
Answers:
yes that is normal
your lymph nodes are right below your teeth, so any time you get an infection, your lymph nodes attract the infection and try to break it down, so the infection is sort of neutralized inside your lymph nodes because that is their job and part of your immune system which fights infections
which is why if your lymph nodes are swollen it means you have some type of infection
:]
if your dentist says to get wisdom teeth pulled, I would listen to him, wisdom teeth are so far back in your mouth, that they really are a nuiscance because you cant reach them as good when cleaning
it may hurt but they sedate you heavily and you will need someone to drive you home afterwards, they won't let you leave the office unless someone else is there to drive you

i had my wisom teeth pulled. if the dentist puts enough novicaine in to numb the gums, you shouldnt feel any pain.
I've never had problems with my wisdom teeth and didn't think I had them, until I went to the dentist and they told me I was getting them pulled. I was only sore for about 2 days but I also had 6 other teeth pulled on the same day. I hope you get this taken care of.

Myself, own experience.
My Lymph Nodes swelled too like that. Well if you have ever had a toothache from a wisdom tooth getting them out hurts less. They gave me a pill to take the morning before. Then I got to the office and they gave me a IV and some meds. It was a light sleep I was in. They removed them and woke me up. I sit in a room for about 45 mins and they sent me home. The next 2 days are ugh. Your out of it. Then the 3rd day I felt better but I still couldn't eat. I had a wisdom tooth to get infected and it was worst then having a child.lol
It's really like having a tooth pulled but it's a larger area. They are big teeth. I'd get them out before they get worst.
Good Luck
swollen lymph nodes can mean mononucleosis, (mono), (not sure about the wisdom teeth part though), and getting a tooth pulled doesnt hurt with anesthetic(feels really wierd), its just the injections that are a swatch painful.
Unless a tooth is seriously disrupting your dental pattern, NEVER have it pulled. You will regret it if you do.
As for lymph nodes : yes, they may swell in response to dental or jaw problems. I think (but am not sure) that such problems may also spark a kind of skin cancer beneath the ear lobe called Bright's Disease. This will start as a sore and develop into a small tumour. Watch it.
Your lymph nodes are swelling because your gums around around the wisdom teeth are inflamed. Lymph nodes swell when you have infections in your body, so your wisdom teeth might be giving you a minor gum infection. My suggestion would be to see your dentist and have that taken care of as soon as you can, so it won't get worse. Better safe than sorry.
you are so numb you only feel a little pressure if that.
its very painful.
