Has anyone every had Braces taken off before the estimated date?

Question: Just wondering if when they say you have to have braces for 2 years, what are the chances of having them taken off early! I have been told by my orthadontist that i can have them tightened every 4 weeks.... instead of 6 -7 weeks...

i was supposed to have mine for 2 yrs. and they came off after a year and a half. The two years i think is the longest time they could be on.

I guess it's possible, if your teeth shift faster than average. I personally had my braces on for Longer than the estimated time. : (
