How do i get rid of the taste of red onion in my mouth?

if you have any fresh dill or ginger it will help. just so you know ginger tastes very strong.
Chew a gum.
That's hard to do. Onions and garlic are really difficult to get rid of. Try chewing some cloves and mint leaves after thoroughly brushing your teeth and tongue and rinsing with Listerine or Scope Mint mouthwash. Otherwise it's just going to take some time and several brushings and rinsings.
cardomom pods (its a pod like spice if you dont know). chew on them and swallow the juice, not the pod.. it tastes a lot like listerine mouth wash (sometimes I think listerine got their flavor from cardomom).. believe me, cardomom will kill/mask any bad flavor in your mouth.
Parsley is supposed to help, that's why its in garlic bread.
Drink and drink water or eat and eat sweet food.
suck on a lemon wedge. honestly, it works.
Have some parsley or an orange.
Just go 3-4 days without eating any more onion.
Some say that parsley will get rid of it, but I don't have personal experience with this.
