After a root cancel pain???

I had a root canal last year and they put a temp. filling in it. I was suppose to go back for the crown and so forth after but couldn't afford the 1000.00 due to no insurance. Now my tooth is slowly falling out since it is dead and I am missing the whole back side of my rear tooth. The filling is still intact though. Now it is starting to hurt. I am getting a slight ear ache as well as gum and mouth ache. Why do you think my mouth is starting to hurt..? Is it because the dead tooth is infecting the gum area??? If I get the tooth pulled my gum area will be exposed anyway so I don't know what is now causing my pain and has anyone experienced something like this???

Can I replace my dark fillings for white and get them free since Ive just have a baby?

Answers:
this is the reason that i've started collecting for both crown and root canal before the procedure. it's so easy to just put things off when it doesn't hurt anymore. the bad news is that i haven't even seen your tooth and i can tell you with relative certainty that it needs to be extracted now. all that money on the root canal wasted! the purpose of the crown is to strengthen and support the tooth while providing a final seal from the oral cavity. without the crown, the tooth breaks (as you know) and bacteria can march down the root canals and infect you jaw bone.

this is unfortunate but at least it isn't going to cast you an arm and a leg for the crown anymore.

info on where to find free info on dental grants without having to pay for the infomation?

It's abcessing. That's an infection and will require antibiotics. Sorry, but you're gonna have to go back to the dentist.
