Is okay to swallow the bracket that you get with your braces?
Question:
Answers:
God I hope not. I haven't heard of anything bad happening b/c I'm sure you're not the only one that's happened to and it seem that if they made braces to go into your mouth that they would make it safe enough for it not to hurt you if that happens.

Umm, you better call the dentist! Good Luck
If you are talking about that tiny thing they glue to your tooth, you should be okay and it will all come out in the end. That is why you have to watch what you eat - no apples or corn on the cob. Let your orthodontist know what happened.
I would go to the ER,just in case. The bracket may irritate your stomach/instine lining. To be safe I would go to the ER.
I dont think it's "OK" to just swallow it. but i'm sure if you aren't dead yet you won't be anytime soon. i don't think your ortodontist was like 'I'm going to put this in here so you can swallow it anytime you want to" I mean it's there for a reason... Don't make a habbit of it
i've swallowed two in my sleep, and one got out while eating, but i took it out. nothing has happened to me..yet. but it's been about a year since my first one.
don't worry too much.
Your're better off getting invisble braces. the metal in your mouth will react to your body and give you a higher metal reading. what higher levels of metal can have on u is that u will be prone to different types of diseases and illness that you normally wouldnt get.
I tihnk thats the website below.
The little thing that glue to your teeth. No you will be fine. If your stomach starts hurting bad then call the ER but it's very tiny and my kids have swallowed dimes and stuff before. If you aren't having trouble breathing your OK.
It will pass.
you'll be fine. IT will come out along with everything else.
yes its fine if was going to hurt u why would they put it in ur mouth it not harmful at all
