Question:
i went to the dentist this morning and i was told i needed to have 4 teeth removed and where they remove the teeth that they have to put crowns.. Well my question is how bad do they hurt when there put in and how long does it take to heal?? I also have to have the rest o my teeth capped.. How much is that gonna hurt?? the reason why i ask these questions are because after i get this all done i have to take care of my mother and then deal with my @sshole of a dad... THANK U!!

Answers:
When you have a tooth removed you dont put in crowns, you can put in implants with crowns on top of them. These can take anywhere from 10-19 weeks to heal. Getting all the teeth crowned will probably take a few hours to do and an hour or two to make all the temporaries that you will wear while the permanants are being made. As long as you are numb, it shoulnt hurt. Your jaw will be sore afterwards though, but Advil will help that.

Well I never had the experience but, my grandmother was a dental assistant. It is not pleasant, but take Tylenol and get plenty of rest. The pain will go away in few days after your dental work. So you'll be fine.
I heard i hurts pretty bad after wards don't know but good luck
after having the teeth pulled you will want the day to yourself.......they numb your mouth pretty good and give you some pain killers, but you will want to rest and take it easy... the caps and crowns won't hurt at all, and shouldn't be a problem, those more than likely won't be done the same day they pull the others.
Your question makes me wonder how old you are. You really need ALL your teeth capped? Something doesn't sound right.

Crowns are not put on places where teeth have been removed. Did you mean a "bridge" which fills in a space with a fake tooth between two supporting teeth?

If you are younger than 30, please get a second opinion before you go ahead with this work. You should be offered some options about how to restore your mouth. Most dentists will give you a "plan A" and "plan B"...maybe even C through F!

Don't worry too much about the pain. It's usually never as bad as you think and there are ways to manage it these days. So many people put off restoring their teeth because they are afraid of the pain. Usually, they end up hurting far worse because of bad teeth and gums.

We are learning so much more about the connection between oral infections and other problems in the body. Remember that your mouth is connected to the rest of you, just like your heart, lungs, brain, and skin. If you don't take care of your teeth, you could compromise your health in all sorts of ways. The temporary discomfort of dental work will be worth it to preserve your general health.
