you can go to the pharmacy and buy some orajel...it is a topical gel you put on the tooth that hurts that numbs the tooth and makes it a bit more comfortable. also, try taking advil because it will help with the inflammation (help reduce the inflammation) and make it feel less painful.
ambesol on gum and some tylenol til you get to dentist. best way to get rid of ache is to sleep and hopefully forget about it til morning.
Use a clover of Garlic in the cavety. This will calm the nerve. Is probably infected and that is why you feel so much pain. Take advil ( couple of pills abt 800 mg is what they prescribe unless you are allergic) mean while and go to the dentish which you already know.
PS. You know there are several disclaimers attached the above information. See www.nolawsuits.com.

Toothaches should always be professionally treated by a dentist. But here is some teeth pain relieve you can do for now:
1. rinsing with warm salt water
2. using dental floss to remove any food particles
3. taking aspirin or acetaminophen (Tylenol) to relieve pain
4. applying a cold (ice pack) compress against the outside of the cheek; do not use heat.
5. using clove oil (Syzygium aromaticum) to numb the gums
See a dentist ASAP to determine the underlying cause of the toothache.
First choice dentist. Until then, oil of cloves
a baseball bat it wont cure your toothache but your head will hurt that much you will soon forget about it
LIDOCAIN local spray
very rapid effect
Advil or Tylenol are about the only ways that you can attempt to get rid of a toothache at home. Sometimes taking antibiotics will help, if there is infection. I know that you were probably hoping for some great cure-all but there really isnt one. You need to find out what is causing the tooth to hurt and only a dentist who has an x-ray of the tooth can tell you that.
Clove oil works, but best to see a dentist.
Oil of cloves rubbed onto the tooth/gum is very effective until the offending molar can be attended to.
In the longer term, yes you need to see a dentist. In the short term wipe your gums with oil of cloves - this should deaden the pain for a while (Don't use too much though - it stings).
pull all your teeth out, you will never have toothache again and no more hefty dentist bills to pay. allright gummy!
OK, you should continuously use mouthwash "Listerine" I recommend. Oh and fried thing like chips, french fries, and etc. Floss daily be case the bacteria could of caused it. If it is only like minor... then it should go away in about 1 week 2 tops.
oil of cloves supposed to help but i was a dental nurse for 8 years so i just saw my dentist. You must go incase it gets worse and besides even if the pain wears off..trust me it will rear its ugly head again at some point. You surely dont want to lose your tooth, infect any others or go through root treatment. If you go now it may just be a something simple that a short courseof antibiotics will cure.In the meantime keep your teeth clean, eat on the other side and wash your mouth out regularly with salt water. Hope you get it sorted.
Depends on the type of toothache.
If it's an occasional ache when you eat hot or cold thing then it is still reversible and a filling will sort it. You need to see a dentist within the next week or two.
If it's constant then the tooth is dying and will need either the nerve removed or the tooth removed. You need to see the dentist in the next day or two.
If it's throbbing, then it's an abscess, you need to see a dentist today.
The whole clove can be bought at any supermarket in the seasoning section at any supermarket, place on pain and wait for saliva to soften it then gently push down on it. Also get it checked out with dentist.
