Opinion on mouthwash containing alcohol?
Question:
Why do you think companies tell you to use mouthwash and large amounts of toothpaste? to sell more of their products!! mouthwash is an unnecessary product that is just another expense. If you use a good toothpaste (pea size amount) dont rinse, and floss then that is enough. (unless you have been told otherwise by a dentist).
If you really want to use mouthwash for occasions when you dont have time to brush then buy one with FLOURIDE
Answers:
Not all mouthwash has alcohol. In my opinion it is good to use inbetween meals for fresh breath, but not for use after brushing your teeth. If you brush well and floss you should not need the mouthwash. There are exceptions for those with gum disease and need the extra antiseptic in mouthwash as treatment. Other than that stay away from it... that is my two cents... lol
I dont like using mouthwash because it burns my mouth (all the damn alcohol in it!)
