Both of my kids lost their teeth at separate ages, my daughter teethed fast and then she also lost her teeth fast, my son however was slower he is 7 1/2 and has only lost the bottom two, don't worry the longer they keep the baby ones, the less damage they do to the adult ones! ( candy)
nah.but once he hits 8 you might want to do something about it
Permanent teeth start to erupt at the age of 6.
Just like kids mature at different ages ...everyone is different when you loose you teeth.
Milk teeth become loose and fall out and new permanent teeth emerge. This process takes place from about 6 to 12 years and starts earlier in girls than boys.
Permanent teeth are already partly formed in children aged 0 to 3 years but erupt later in life. Step by step the 20 milk teeth are replaced by the 32 permanent teeth: early mixed dentition occurs at 6 to 9 years of age with eruption of the first permanent molars and incisors. Following a pause of approximately 1.5 to 2 years, late mixed dentition occurs at around 10 to 12 years of age. This stage usually lasts 15 months and involves eruption of canines, premolars and second molars. The phase of permanent dentition begins with eruption of the last permanent tooth, i.e. the upper second molar, at around 12 years of age. Individuals may also experience much later eruption between 17 and 37 years of age which involves the third molars.
