How many vicodin is a good amount for a dentist to prescribe after wisdom teeth removal.?

Question:
Wisdom teeth

Answers:
That's too many. You have dry socket. did you smoke afther the extraction. Call your dentist and ask to be seen.

Dry socket involves pain lasting several days after the extraction. It's caused by something dislodging the clot from the extraction. The bone that is exposed begins to die and hurts like crazy. Other than the pain, there's not really any other symptoms. If it's associated with swelling, then there is an infection, not dry socket.

Thinks like spitting hard or sucking through a straw or SMOKING can cause the clot to dislodge. To fix it they pack some medicing in the socket and the pain is almost instantly relieved. Call him before they close today.

I would say enough to take 1 every 4-6 hrs the first 2-3 days.
No I doubt he will. It is a controlled substance the same as loratab. They only give them to you to take the first few days after removal of the teeth. After that, they tell you to take ibprofin or advil.
holy crap dude! u took a lot. dont take so many if you dont need them. i had three teeth pulled out about a day ago. and ive only taken 2 advil. if i get dry socket then ill move on to the vicodin. but be careful u can do damage to urself
