Depends on which tooth it is and what the condition is. Do you know the tooth number and exactly what condition the tooth is in? If so let me know. Also remember, pulling a tooth may seem to be the cheapest fasted answer, but it can cause the opposing tooth (the one that it bites against) to be lost years later because it no longer has its "partner" to bite against. It can cost between $2000 and 3000 to replace a tooth that you have taken out. So you have to look at the pro's and con's.

take out the tooth. you might have the root canal (and they are not guaranteed to save the tooth) and still have to have the tooth removed. Plus, removal is a hell of alot cheaper!

Tske the tooth out. Root canal's are more expensive, more painful, and are not guarenteed. If u get rid of the tooth, it will be over and done with.
It really depends on the mental ramifications and the money situation I would think. I am in the process of getting a top rc, and it is costing me $685.00... not counting the cap to go over it.. so a total of close to $900.00 for saving one tooth.. It depends on where the tooth is, and if it is going to affect your appearance or how you eat.... good luck... It is time consuming.. 3 trips to the dentist for it...

off course root canal!! i had 2 root canals and had to have caps over my teeth, but it feels very comfortable. feels like real teeth, don't remove your tooth, it could cause gap between other teeth and it would feel very awkward!! best of luck

why do we get wisdom teeth if they only need to come out?
My dentist office says it is always best to save the tooth if possible, however... root canals are typically more expensive and they never offer to pony up any money to help pay for those...lol~
Root canals also don't last forever. I suppose it would really come down to how much you can spend and where the tooth is located in your mouth~
