abscess tooth?

I have to get to Monday with an abcessed tooth. I went to urgent care and got Codeine and Tylonol and an antibiotic but I'm still in pain. Any home remedies I can add to my codeine?

I'm recovering from that at this very moment. I tried everything too. The best thing has been to take the prescribed pain medicine then 2 hours later try 600- to 800 mg. of ibuprofen(if you can take it) then 2 hours after that your pain medicine again. This way you are consistantly relieving pain and pressure build up. Ibuprofen is the best for the inflamation. I also tried a warm tea bag. It felt good and helped me relax. Good luck!

Cold ice water on the tooth, you may have to dio it often but it works.
