What's the recommended age for braces?

My daughter is 10 and I know she's headed for needing braces. A girl in her class last year (4th grade) had braces, which I think is too young. What age do they usually get them? I haven't taken her to an orthodontist yet.

Which toothpaste works the best?

Answers:
I think it's about 13-14. My daughter is 14 and she's had hers for 1 year and 3 months, she gets the braces of in December and then has to wear a retainer for a year or two. Her teeth look phenominal, I am so glad we were able to get them for her. Although, it is very painful and there are alot rules to follow about having braces, like caring for them and foods not eat and when they come undone. So be prepared for alot of crying and complaining once your daughter gets hers. Good luck.

Any Recommendations?
