Will it affect my treatment if I smoke cigars while I have my braces on?

I am an adult, fully aware of the health risks involved with smoking. I will be getting braces on in a few weeks and I need to know if I have to stop smoking my weekly cigar.

I am wearing braces for almost 8mths now.Do you think braces will help to push in teeth?

Answers:
No it will not damage it at all. the only thing it will do is cause you to stain around the bracketts that wont come off. But if you only smoke one a week and not all the time you should be fine. Just brush the tobacco off after you smoke it.
