How much weight did you lose when you got braces?

I'm really excited that i might lose weight when i get braces. I'm only a little bit overweight but i've been trying to lose it for about a year, but i give up too much. I just started recently working out again and eating a healthy as i can, and i'm gettin braces in january. I'm still going to continue to workout when i get them but i was wondering how much weight did you lose when you got braces?

I have braces now. They only hurt for a day or two after each visit then you overeat becasue you are hungry from when you couldn't eat. You could lose weight but braces do not impede on eating all that much.

Can I think aboat having baby if I have an stomatologic implant? Don't I lose my implant beacuse of pregnancy?

none. Braces have nothing to do with weight. I still ate all the same things.

I lost nothing. The pain last only a few days, once a month or so and after that, you're too hungry to stagger your eating. I wouldn't count on braces to lose weight. Just keep eating healthy and exercising.

can having a toothache make your throat hurt?

it really depends on how much you can handle pain. when i get my braces tightened i usually dont eat anything the first two days. i am a food lover though so i do nothing but eat. ive had my braces since December and since then (11 months) ive GAINED ten pounds. but i like to eat.. so that explains that. there is really nothing diffrent with having them and not. but if your a food junkie, and you like all the candy and pop corn.. you will probably stop that. i like all that stuff and ive broken about ever rule of having braces ( no gum soda candy pop corn ect.) and im perfetly fine.if you WANT to loose weight, then having braces will probably be alot of help in maintaining your diet though.. good luck

i remember, i got my braces 2 years ago, a few days before christmas., and i thought i was gonna lose weight because my mouth hurted so bad that i couldn't eat barely anything.BULLSHXT. when you first get them, it might hurt a little more because your mouth is not used to the feeling of you braces being tightened; you MAY lose a LiTTLE LITTLE weight in the beginning but after a while you will get hungry..
