Why do I have a sore lump in my cheek?
I had dental work done last week crown build up. I was numb from 9am to 10pm and once the numbness went away my tooth was sore and my cheek had a lump in it and really sore. I had my root canal done and that hurt less then me getting the build up done. Do you know what may be causing the lump and soreness in my cheek?
How long does it take for a child to lose a tooth once it becomes loose?

the dentist did a lot of pulling on your face that you didn't feel then . but feel now, the soreness will be gone in a day or two.

Well I hope it hasn't absessed. Do you have a fever? If you do, I would call your dentist. It may be infected.its probably just from the shots they gave you to numb it..but call the dentist to be sure.
It could be an injured area from the instuments the dentist used.
