In many cities there are dental clinics that charge on a sliding scale based on your income. You may also want to check with your church to find out if there are any church sponsored dental (and medical) clinics in your area. You can usually get in pretty fast for an emergency but there is usually a pretty long wait (1 month or more) for just a general appointment. Of course, dental schools have been mentioned, but you also might consider calling any dental "chains" such as Comfort Dental and ask if they have a finance plan available.Most dentists have finance plans available through finance companies.
