The ADA recommends the following for good oral hygiene:
Brush your teeth twice a day with an ADA-accepted fluoride toothpaste.
Clean between teeth daily with floss or an interdental cleaner. Decay–causing bacteria still linger between teeth where toothbrush bristles can’t reach. Flossing removes plaque and food particles from between the teeth and under the gum line.
Eat a balanced diet and limit between-meal snacks.
Visit your dentist regularly for professional cleanings and oral exams.
Talk to your dentist about what types of oral care products will be most effective for you. The ADA Seal on a product is your assurance that it has met ADA criteria for safety and effectiveness. Look for the ADA Seal on fluoride toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss, interdental cleaners, oral irrigators, mouth rinses and other oral hygiene products.
Replace your toothbrush every three or four months , or sooner if the bristles become frayed. A worn toothbrush will not do a good job of cleaning your teeth. Children’s toothbrushes often need replacing more frequently than adults because they can wear out sooner.

Why do you think mint is good for freshening breath?
Brush your teeth in the morning and defently at night before you go to bed. If you brush your teeth just once, make sure it's before you go to bed. Everything you have ate throughout the day will settle on your teeth the whole time you're asleep, and that 95% of why people's breath stinks and tastes really bad when they wake up. Use a tongue scrapper as well. They don't hurt and they don't make you gag. Brush your tongue as well. The tongue is the best place for bacteria and food particles to stick to and the white stuff on your tongue is what causes the bad breath! Use a good mouthwash like Lysterine or Crest. Lysterine is the best if you can handle it! That should do the trick. THE TONGUE.Brush gently but thoroughly after every meal followed by a flossing between the teeth . Following with a swishing of mouthwash can be beneficial also . The Oral B electric toothbrush is the top rated and will make your job much easier .
floss, sticks electrick brush, tongue scraper mouthwater and don't forget the red tablet to test yourself on palque
and use it all daily..
If you don't smoke and drink coffee that'll make your teeth substantially better especially in the long run. You will not suffer from teeth falling out and other terrible dental diseases.
Smoking is like the worst for your teeth, candy is a joke compared to smoking.
1. Brush teeth and tongue twice a day.
2. Teeth cleaning with dentist every six months.
3. Tooth filling in dentist when necessary.
That's it.
What mouthwash do you generally use?
You need to brush your teeth using a good technique (you know the one we learn at school, at least in my country) - you know from the root to the top of the tooth. I, personally, brush my teeth at least once a day, but usually twice or even three to four times, depending on the food I've eaten. I don't know about you, but I feel bacteria in my mouth and I just have the need to brush my teeth, so sometimes I do it quite often. Brush your tongue also. I recommend some gentler toothpastes, since those for whitening are too strong and may damage your teeth. I recommend the toothbrash Colgate (Mild Strenght) - it's just perfect (I discovered it just a week ago). You should avoid some types of food and drinks, as you already know. It is also good to develop certain habits - for example, never put sugar in your tea or coffee. If you drink it frequently, it will make a significant difference. However, the first two things I've mentioned are the most important.
