What type of experience/certification do I need to work as a Dental Assistant in Virginia?
Is there any way to find out the different certifications needed to work in different states especially Virginia? I have Red Cross Certification and 8 months experience is that enough?
How do I remove calcium deposits from my teeth?
Answers:
In Virginia, dental assistants don't need to be licensed or registered in order to do basic work. However, if they work with x-rays, they must complete training in dental assisting and be certified. The Dental Assisting National Board offers an exam in Radiation Health and Safety.
Good luck!
