If I don't wear my elastics for 8 hours everyday does the teeth move back into place?

I did a study of Listerine when I was younger and I can tell you that Listerine unlike most other mouthwashes wiped out all bacteria. Many scientists believe that swallowing bacteria upon waking thickens the blood and produces life-threatening blood clots. It is probable that the use of Listerine has saved more people.

I use it in the middle of the night when I wake up and first thing in the morning. Some people think that hydrogen peroxide diluted with water is a better choice but I don't think the science is totally there yet.

Does anyone know of any good ways to soothe mouth pain from spacers?
