about colgate total?

Question:
Colgate total figths against 12 teeth and gum problems and offers 12 hours anti-bacterial protection. Does this mean that it's sufficient to brush my teeth two times a day at an interval of 12 hours?

Answers:
Colgate Total is a great toothpaste because it is the only one on the market containing Triclosan. It is that ingrediant that helps keep bacteria from attaching to the teeth. Problem is how long does it really work on an individual? Also if you dont brush after meals then it will be the food stuck in your mouth that will cause bad breath and cavities because it will essentially be rotting in your mouth till that 12th hour when you brush it off! Yuck! And it cant get all the way to the bottom of your gums (pockets) so the bacteria will still be thriving down there, that is where periodontal disease starts.
So no, brush at least 2-3 times a day and be sure to floss daily. There is no miracle toothpaste or product out yet!!

Other Answers:
No. Brush morning and night before bed. Or brush after every meal. It is important to get the sugar and bacteria off your teeth to keep them healthy. Colgate's claim is not a guarantee and there is no way you can test the claim on your own, so dont be stupid. Keep brushing regularly.

.maybe yes if it is alright with you then you can, but how about if youre going out with someone do you need to follow the hours indicated on the said product .maybe not it depends on what you eat i believe its best if brush after everymeal if its possible
