Question:
Answers:
Your jaw is out of line. Some dentists but not all can help with this. It is called TMJ.
This is called 'bruxism' ... and it is usually caused by tension. The muscles which close the jaw contract...bringing the teeth together. Sometimes there is also lateral movement....grinding....and it can cause tooth wear. It can be alleviated by wearing a 'night guard'....a plastic thing that looks like a sports mouthguard. Bruxism can lead to headaches and TMJ pain....as well as tooth problems
