Good cure for gingivitus?

Question:
Going to the dentist isnt the answer im looking for.

Answers:
Brushing two times a day for two minutes at a time & flossing once a day. Going to the dentist for regular cleanings is the best though. You can only clean your teeth so well at home & it is up to those at the dental office to take care of the rest.

Other Answers:
Rub your gums with salt daily. My friends mom is a dental hygienist. Also when you brush your teeth, remember to also brush your gums.

ok then

brush your teeth more

Brush your teeth more often and don't eat all that sugar. If you don't brush that's how you get gingivitis. Also you might get tartar if you don't brush if tartar appears then brush the part where the tartar is if it forms then you have to go to the dentist to get it scraped off. Flossing is also a great way to get food out between your teeth that your tooth brush can't. LIsteren!

Flossing daily is the best way to prevent/treat gingivitis. If you haven't been flossing everyday, then you're gums are going to bleed when you first start. After about a week of flossing everyday, the bleeding should stop. Proper flossing involves sliding the floss gently under the gums and scraping the side of your tooth with the floss. And remember to floss behind the very back teeth. You should also be brushing 2-3 times daily. When you brush, hold the bristles at a 45 degree angle toward your tooth with the bristles pointing toward your gums. Very gently jiggle the brush where some of the bristles go under your gums. This helps remove plaque that hides below the gumline, which is what is responsible for gingivitis. And you can also use Listerine. It does have alcohol, so it burns and it can make your mouth feel dry. Crest Pro-Health Rinse says it does the same as Listerine without the alcohol (no burning, no dry mouth), but it is new and has not been studied enough to prove that it's as good as Listerine. Regular dental cleanings are also very important because once plaque turns into calculus (tartar), it can only be removed by a dentist or hygienist. As long as you have calculus, the bacteria in plaque stay in close contact with your gums and keep your gums infected. I know you don't want to go to the dentist, but it is important so I have to mention it. Just remember that daily flossing is the best way to keep your teeth.
