Would dentist consider using a camera device in place of the mirrors they use in patients mouths?

Question:
If a dentist could have a small light weight camera that showed the image of the patients teeth onto a Laptop screen would it be of any benefit versus the mirror?
If they could show the patient by playing it back to them and explaining what they found would this be something dentists would use?
If the price was low and the tool was no heavier than a mirror with more flexability would they be interested?
Does this exist already?

Answers:
Intra-oral cameras have been around for many years. They also have lighting to illuminate the scene. Some wireless models exist too, and hopefully will develop better reliability.
Dentists primarily use them just to show matters of interest to patients.
Dental hand mirrors are more useful to a dentist than a camera because they allow access into tight positions, act as to hold bach tissues like cheeks, and also much easier to keep clear of saliva. It also doesn't matter if you scratch a mirror - you simply throw it away.
yes it already exists I have one it's called an intraoral camera.
