has anyone ever had a root canal filling and then got an abscess on gum near it?

i have an overbite too! (i got mine on yesterday) ok u should call your orthidontist and them if they are going to put spacers in (they are painful, but it will get u ready for the pain of your braces and it won't make your braces as painful) (i think spacers are worse than braces but my braces arent killing me cause i had the spacers) ( i had a friend that didn't get spacers and she didn't eat for like almost 3 days cause he braces hurt so bad.)

most patients do get a cleaning prior to braces because unless you have been seen in the last 6 months- all chances of decay need to be examined and fixed if present. otherwise, just come in at you next sceduled cleaning appt. don't forget - with braces, you need check ups just as much to keep everything healthy and clean
