gum over braces....ow??

its sort of gross, but my gums are starting to grow over my braces, and my friend said hers did that too and it doesnt matter, it just really hurts when they take them off..does anyone know anything about that and what i can do to help??

I have a sore gum.. what's the best product to use to soothe it?

your gums are getting infected. you need to make sure you brush atleast three times a day. Floss --yea its gonna hurt at first and get some mouth wash and use it anytime you can't brush

Well your question threw me for a loop.
I have never before heard of that and now it's something I can watch for with my gums and braces.
Obviously the best thing for you to do is to talk to your Orthodontist about it the next time you visit, or if it needs more immediate attention schedule a sooner emergency appointment.
I don't know what else to suggest, but I think that is best.
