My moms teeth turned black from takin an iron supplement. Is this common? and when will it go away?
Question:
Answers:
Sorry to differ, but it depends on how the iron supplement is formulated. If it's a liquid, I would most definitely expect it to make a black stain on her teeth. If she is dissolving the pill in her mouth, it would also make a black stain. If you have iron in your water that needs to be filtered out, you will have a black stain on your teeth.
The good news is that a dentist or hygienist can polish this off relatively easily. You can't really do it at home, though.
definitely not common. need to get that checked out right away.
it may not
Iron supplements don't turn teeth black. They have no effect on teeth at all.
Please take her to a dentist for a proper evaluation.
You should get you mum to go to the dentist or a doctor and tell them what has happen . You mum mite be able to get some tables to get the back to the way there were . And to find out is in side her body ok after the way her teeth have went
