I would suggest a "pearl" color if they have it. This color actually made my teeth look whiter ...The color is sort of a mix between white and an icy blue.
pink! light colors are better than bright colors because when you have vibrant colors thats all people notice about you!

Plain old silver braces or the clear ones are just fine. You can choose different colored rubber bands every time you go in for adjustments, so you can color coordinate with holidays or your general mood, if you like. LOL, currently, my son has blue and yellow bands on, having just switched out from rainbow.

I hated my braces so I chose to get light colors. they didn't attract the eyes to your mouth. I was warned never to get white because they make your teeth look yellow and any spaghetti type sauce will turn them a gross orange color.
My favorite color was light pink and light blue.
Dark red will make your teeth look whiter.
Have as much fun as possible... though I hated every minute of it! The results are worth it.

I would go with clear, sometimes the colored ones can look like food stuck in your braces!
Don't get white or yellow, because food stains the white so it'll look gross and yellow looks gross, haha.

You're lucky, I got mine about a month ago and the place I got them at I can't get colors. :(

A guy that I worded with had to wear them and since the wiring has to be changed monthly, (it's the wiring that is colored) he went for that month's holiday. Dec, he used red and green. July red, white, blue, He figured if he had to wear them as an adult, he was going to have fun with it.
lol. just dont get white. I had white for the past month. and now. its like yellow. xD
