Answers:
Don't be scared! This could be something serious, but can be managed with maybe a mouth guard you wear at night to keep yo from grinding your teeth wich will cause stiff jaw and locked up jaw...
This also can be something genetic or just the way your muscles are.
Set up an appt with your general dentist. He will do some mobilty tests and measure how far you can open and determine if you do grind your teeth. Also will take a Panorex xray that will show muscle and carilege.
He may send you to a specialist that specializes in TMJ # Temporal madibular joints. Mandibular is your lower jaw
Dont let this wait.. Don't be scared.. your gonna be fine.
talk to your parents
maybe its just a jaw problem

Its better to tell someone bc it only gets worse the longer you wait.
have you had a deep or puncture wound without a tetanus shot within 10 years ? you may be developing lock jaw. see a doctor fast or it will take longer to cure.
why would you be scared to tell someone. i've had tmj for 1 1/2 years and because i didn't do anything about it until now i have arthritis in my jaw. my dr. just gave me some muscle relaxers and my jaw popped back into place. i didn't think anything was going to work. it did take 3 weeks of a soft food diet and medicine. if that doesn't work you might need arthrocentisis. that's when the dr. removes the fluid from your jaw. i still to this day don't know why i have tmj... hope this helps because tmj is torture...
You haven't told your Parents ? This will only get worse !Go tell Mom, Dad, Grand ma, grand dad ,your aunt or your foster parents who every takes care of you ! Tell them today right Now! If they wont listen a school Nurse may help! or You really need to see a doctor Nurse Vicki
I have tmj. it's not a serious problem. there is no treatment for it other than take an advil. this just means your jaw will start to hurt if you continue to chew your gum for more than 20 minutes. your jaw will always snap back it to place. sometimes if feels like its not- or that its snapped to the wrong side. its no biggie.
That's not a normal part of growing, but many many people have TMJ. Don't chew gum any more, and you need to bring it up at your next doctor visit.
Your parents are both negligent fools. You need to be seen by a physician, and the sooner, the better. Tell a grandparent or a teacher you trust. Someone has to get through to them - this could seriously impact your health for the rest of your life.
