I'm getting two tooth crowns?

Question:
and two fillings. how long is it going to take?

Answers:
I am not really positive but I believe that it would involve at least two visits. After the fillings, an impression has to be made of your teeth and then the crown is fitted on your tooth at the next visit. I have crowns but I had a root canal done first and the tooth was built up to normal size and then after the impressions were made, the crowns were placed. I was told by the dentist that gold crowns were better than the porcelein ones but I could not reccommend either one because the gold one came off my tooth and now I have to have it replaced. I will say that they are exspensive. Consult with your dentist about the procedure and the difference if any in price, and how long will your tooth stay in tact as far as getting a cavity in the crowned teeth.
