Tell parents about braces?
Question:
my dentist told me that i have to get braces as soon as my
tooth grow back but now that my tooth is growing back.
i went there to have my teeth whitened but he never mentioned
it again... soo isnt he like supposed to tell my parents?
or do i have to tell them? but how?
help pleaseee!

Why dont you mention it to ur parents..? I mean.. it's supposed to be ur dentist to tell them; but it's your mouth!!.. and who will care more about your perfect smile than you? I mean.. I think you'd like to have a nice smile.. with perfect teeth.. am I right?... so... if you have to get braces.. it's worth it.. Dont be afraid to ask your dentist.. or to mention it to your parents..!
is it realyy a big deal? just mention it. if they have no idea what ur talking about, explain.
you should just tell them that's what he told you, and don't worry about the braces they're not as bad as everyone say's they hurt as long as you don't keep messing with them with your tounge, which is kind of hard to do cuz they feel wierd in your mouth, but they do hurt when you eat, but the best thing to eat is soup, preffarably the top ramen, but that's just my favorite =)
your dentist will discuss braces with you and your parents and then send you to search for a orthodontist...he will give you his recommendations on the best though.but if the next time you go to the dentist if he doesn't acknowledge it then just ask him about braces...tell him you remember him telling you that you needed them but wasn't sure since he hadn't said anything.and he will tell you.but don't be in a rush to get braces because i know from experience that they hurt like crazy when you get rubber bands and tightened and stuff but yeah your dentist should let your parents know !!

i agree with "add me to your friends" its not a big deal just tell them that he mentioned it and they can talk with him to see whats best for you! =)
