Can they pull your 13 year molars for braces?
Question:
Answers:
X-rays will show if the 4rth molar is there, impacted or deformed. They like your mouth to be balanced, all teeth having an opposing tooth.
They might pull them if your jaw is small and they are crowding your other teeth out of line.
no, if they are permanent teeth, they usually dont pull them unless they re impacted.
Hi Tina! I think you misunderstood the dentist. I've done this for 25 years. The teeth they are looking at pulling are PRE-molars behind your canines to bring your teeth in to a great look and a great smile. THESE are not needed if you have a small mouth and need this to have a perfect smile line. Molars are not pulled as these teeth are used to chew and grind your food. Premolars are not necessary if you have a small mouth. Please don't panic. This is a normal treatment plan and you will love your smile when it is all done. I promise. If you have any other questions, please ask. Marie.
