Can i whiten my teeth with expired baking soda?

Question:
its been expired since 2001. will it work as well?

Answers:
Please do not use baking soda alone. Expired baking soda is just fine. Mix half salt with it. If you use baking soda alone, you will eventually have a brown stain that is hard to remove. Salt and soda make a good toothpaste. This mixture will not whiten your teeth except for stain removal. It also will not prevent many types of cavities.
Yes, it wont hurt you. All it is, is an abrasive.
I think it's probably better not to use anything that's expired, especially something that you could possibly swallow. Better safe then sorry.
just go buy some new baking soda ya lazy *** cheapo
