Nope--you won't even really notice the scraping and scratching. Besides, if you didn't have a hard time getting them on, you certainly won't suffer when they're removed.
The best of all, though, is that wonderful feeling you get when you run your tongue over perfectly smooth, shiny white teeth that are straight!

it's a lot less painful then getting them on. i remember it was uncomfortable, but i dont really remember any pain. if your gums are a bit swollen once you get them off, don't worry about it, it will go down in a few days

for me it wasn't really painful. it just felt really weird! like there was something really smooth all over your teeth!
i was told that it didnt hurt...i wouldnt exactly know b/c i just got my braces on yesterday =/
No, lol I took mine off with nail clippers once...the orthadontist was Peed!
actually putting them on hurts alot more
but not really just the scraping might get you scared because it might hit you or something but it never does it is just paranoia

i got my braces off 3 months ago and when i got mine off my teeth felt weird but the swelling will go down in a couple days dont worry.
