How can i get the stains off my teeth if i smoke?
Question:
Answers:
Make a paste of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, about the consistency of toothpaste. Put this on your toothbrush and sprinkle a layer of salt on top.
Best thing to do, however, would be to...quit smoking.
Stop smoking for one, that will keep stains from returning. Go get your teeth bleached.
Hi! I've been in dentistry for over 25 years. AND do NOT brush hard. You are not scrubbing the kitchen floor! Your teeth will get worn done and destroy the gums. Use Crest Whitening strips and a daily whitening toothpaste and rinse. Floss and you will be fine. The stains are superficial and will come off. Have 2 cleanings a year by your dentist and stay on top of your hygiene. I will lecture you on smoking. That is a personal choice and you know the problems with this. But keep in mind it robs your gums of proper circulation and can cause problems when you are older. Enough said. Brush, floss, use a fluoride rinse, you will be fine. Marie
like the other dentist, avoid brushing hard.
instead, brush right after you smoke.
the key is contact time... if you let coffee/smoke/wine contact your enamel, then it will stain.
I suggest over the counter whitening strips to whiten your teeth fast
