Listerine and Act?

Question:
I brush, floss, then use listerine after breakfast. At Lunch, I brush floss, and use act. At dinner i brush floss and use listerine. Is that okay?? I need them both. I dp it because i have alot of cavities, and now want to take care of my teeth.

Answers:
Its probably OK, but you are getting cavities because your mouth is deprived of essential bacteria that prevent cavities. Doctors are developing creams with good bacteria colonies what will help. If you want less cavities ask your dentist about those and make sure the dentist knows about those things and where you can get them.
Thats fine but i would dillute the listerine with a little water since there is so much alochol. The alochol can dry out your mouth and lead to cavities. If you are using act do it a bed time. Rinse with it, spit it out and don't rinse again with water or eat or drink anything else before you go to bed.
