Severe tooth pain on my lower right second from last tooth, what is it?

Question:
I went to the dentist today and they filled a cavity where I have been experiencing this pain. I think it might be my Wisdom tooth, but the dentist thought I was to young to be getting them (I'm 17). I've been taking advil but it still hurts, any suggestions?

Answers:
HI VINCE
WELL FYI WISDOM TEETH, OR THIRD MOLARS, SOMETIMES BEGIN TO FORM AT ANY AGE BETWEEN 17-24. IT MAY BE A WISDOM TOOTH, BUT MORE PROBABLE IS THAT THE FILLING IS TOO HIGH. A QUICK ADJUSTMENT BY YOUR DENTIST WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS.
It's probably your wisdom tooth. You can get them between ages 17- 21. Try putting coten around it, I've done it before. just makes a little padding for it.
dude, go to the dentist.
